Elizabeth Scholle, Bronwyn Purcell and Adam Rintell, all of Chestnut Hill, graduated from Bates College on May 29.
Theo Nygren, of Brookline, along with over 250 first-year University of Vermont students, participated in the UVM TREK program, a seven-day first year enrichment program sponsored by the University’s Department of Student Life. Nygren participated in Hiking TREK. A part of the Wilderness TREK program, Hiking TREK provides incoming students an opportunity to visit and explore some of highest, most remote and oldest footpaths in the country, along the long trail and in the Adirondacks.
Elizabeth Bair, of Brookline, has enrolled at the University of Iowa for the fall 2017 semester.
Alexander Frieden, of Brookline, was named to the Carleton College Class of 2020 Dean’s List. Frieden attended Brookline High School. In recognition of academic excellence, the list is compiled each summer and is drawn from the top 10 percent of the previous year’s first-year, sophomore and junior classes.
