ITN Greater Boston is Looking for Helping Hands in Brookline!
ITN Greater Boston is looking for some volunteer drivers from the Brookline community.
What is ITN Greater Boston? It is a non-profit organization that helps meet the transportation needs of seniors and the visually impaired. The program provides the comfort and convenience of car ownership and is supported by annual membership dues, affordable fares, car donations, community donations, and generous volunteers. They do not rely on public funding.
With the help of ITN Greater Boston, older adults are given door-to-door rides to any destination within our service area, 24 hours a day. This allows our members to travel as if they were able to drive themselves. In doing this, ITN Greater Boston provides a safe and dignified service that allows older Brookline residents to feel independent and to go on living their lives.
Our service areas include: Boston: Allston, Brighton, Fenway, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mission Hill, Roslindale, West Roxbury. Suburbs: Ashland, Brookline, Framingham, Natick, Marlboro, Needham, Newton, Southboro, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley.
If you like to drive, enjoy helping people and seeing the direct result of your help, please call (508)309-7375 or e-mail the Executive Director at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
